Easter dinner 2019
Spring is such a wonderful time of the year! Though on a tropical island we do not have the seasons like in North America or Europe, we do a ‘spring-ish’ season… Spring in Curacao means that the cactus (o.a.) get flowers which attract birds and bees. Our local parrot, the ‘Prikichie’ is crazy for cactus flowers! Check out our cute little friend in the picture below!
Our bartender, Nati, got inspired by the Prikichie and made a ‘nature inspired’ cocktail…
Spring Tasting Menu
Our chef and his team also did their best to WOW you with a ‘Spring tasting menu’, available during the whole Easter weekend. So if you are not a big breakfast or brunch person, or don’t want to stand in the kitchen after a relaxing day at the beach, do come over, our team is here to welcome you!
Now to the Spring Tasting Menu:
The appetizer consists of a trio of tropical yellowfin tuna tartare with mango, a chick tigh pastrami with organic egg-truffle salad and a creamy soup of turnips and new potatoes with bacon and dill. The next course is grilled double lamb chops with seasonal vegetables and yoghurt mashed potatoes with sage. Should you prefer fish as the entree that is possible too. Dessert… oohh dessert…well, you can just check that out for your self!
