As you enter Fort Nassau, you can now take a little step back in time. At the entrance to the restaurant, we have created a historical photo wall, bringing together special images and memories from the Fort’s past.

Discover what Fort Nassau looked like more than a hundred years ago, old photographs of the cannons, one of Princess Beatrix’s visits to Fort Nassau, and even one of the restaurant’s very first menus, dating back almost 50 years. And there is much more to discover.

Putting this collection together has not always been easy, as old photographs and prints of Fort Nassau are surprisingly difficult to find. That is why we would love to hear from anyone who may have a little piece of Fort Nassau’s history tucked away at home.
