There is nothing wrong with change, if it is in the right direction!
Restaurant Fort Nassau has always been known -and appreciated- for its somewhat classic menu and ambiance. But we made a change two years ago when the restaurant was remodeled and refurnished in order to create a more casual and modern atmosphere. And this year we made it a point to change the à la carte menu as well to fit the new ‘casual fine dining experience’.
The new à la carte menu features a variety of meat, fish and seafood dishes, some with a local twist; lamb fillet in green plantain crust, panko coated chicken breast served with green plantain-ginger mash and beef tenderloin topped with Gorgonzola served with truffled polenta are already some of the guests favorites.
Vegetarians are also very welcome at the Fort! Just give your waiter a heads-up and the chef will prepare your dinner to order. Our vegetarian signature dish is without a doubt the homemade ravioli of pumpkin in truffle sauce with Parmesan shavings.
