Vegetarians rejoice! Just before the end of the year our chefs have made some changes to the ‘a la carte menu’ that will enlighten you, but our other guests as well!
So what’s new?
First the chefs have made some changes to some of the dishes. The grouper swam out and is replaced for ‘catch of the day’, in order to guarantee the freshest fish on your plate! The lamb chops also got a super make-over you have to try! The soft polenta and (local)veggies make for a surprising side to the lamb chops and the roasted garlic sauce seals the deal!
The lobster is now served Mediterranean style with Romesco sauce and a honey pappardelle pasta with spinach, portobello and Pecorino cheese… YUM!
On the appetizer side there is a change as well; The salmon tartar dish now has an Asian swing to it and is served with sweet & sour cucumber and radishes, seaweed mayo and soy caviar…
Vegetarian main dishes!
At Fort Nassau we always offered nice vegetarian appetizers, but the mains stayed a bit behind on the menu… well NO MORE! We now offer three nice vegetarian main course options to choose from! New is the “lentil & carrot ‘stoba’ “, served with goat cheese croquettes and grilled mini vegetables. In addition we now offer the lamb and fish dish in vegetarian option as well. So, in stead of the lamb or fish, the dish of your choice will be served with smokey BBQ flavored tofu.
Need we say more?! It’;s time to (re)visit the Fort again and enjoy a great, relaxed dinner with spectacular view and the friendliest servers! See you soon at the Fort!
